The Gems Jewelry and Precious Metal Confederation of Thailand (GJPCT) along with the Thai Gem and Jewelry Traders Association (TGJTA) meet with the commissioner-general of the Royal Thai Police to asking for advice from entrepreneurs in the gems and jewelry industry.
Mr. Somchai Phornchindarak, President of GJPCT along with Mr.Somnuk Kyavatanakij, Vice President of TGJTA, and the committee meet Police General Suwat Jangyodsook, commissioner-general of the Royal Thai Police to asking for advice to entrepreneurs in the gems and jewelry industry to asking for advice to entrepreneurs in the gems and jewelry industry. Since some of them were foreign businessmen, so they were aimed at escaping into the city also including money laundering. Therefore they went to clarify the gem and jewelry business in Thailand and also cooperate in the operation of the staff with honestly
However, the gem and jewelry business was affected by the economy since the epidemic situation of Covid-19 because it is a high-value product which the customer has to touch the product. Therefore there may be theft or online trading may take advantage of various fraudulent opportunities that will create a risk to the business from such an economic situation that the police officer has always been relied on and took care of us. Therefore, it was a good opportunity for the GJPCT and the TGJTA representative of the gems and jewelry entrepreneurs who met Police General Suwat Jangyodsook, commissioner-general of the Royal Thai Police to build understanding including coordinating good cooperation between police officers Law enforcement - peace and gems and jewelry entrepreneurs
