The European Union (EU) and UN Women have recognized the importance of promoting gender-inclusive business cultures and practices in Asia. In Thailand, they are working with Kenan Foundation Asia (Kenan) to implement WeEmpowerAsia-Thailand, a project that provides free training with Women's Empowerment Principles (WEPs) to companies in the gem & jewelry, tourism, and fintech industries. Companies receiving the training and signing up to the WEPs could showcase their WEPs signatory status—demonstrating to investors, buyers, consumers, and workers that they stand in solidarity with the EU and the UN to promote gender equality.
In order to ensure that the WEPs training would tailor to local needs, Kenan would like to invite companies in the 3 target sectors to complete a needs assessment survey here: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/3F3QJ8G (The survey is in Thai and should take about 10 mins to complete.)
Companies are also invited to join the free training program by signing up on this website: https://www.weempowerasia.kenan-asia.org/
